Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of 0.2Hz rTMS on tyrosine hydroxylase(TH) postive staining in the substantia nigra of Parkinson's disease model rats. Methods Hemiparkinson model rats were established by micro-injection of 6-hydroxydopamine(6-OHDA) into right dopaminergic neurons of substantia nigra.Fourteen successive stimulations were given,(0.2Hz 55% intensity of the total output 2T magnetic stimulator),and TH positive neurons and fibers in substantia nigra were detected with immuno-histo-chemical method. Results Compared with that in the non-stimulation group, high TH positive fibers were iduced in substantia nigra. Conclusion The treatment effect of rTMS was because of affecting the synaotic transmission induced by dendritic remodeling.
