In the past 20 years, studies have been made on the transformation of culture, the cultivation of citizens, intellectuals, the educational institutions, the cultures of the upper and the lower classes, etc. , in modern China and many achievements have been made. Since 1979, valuable experiences have been accumulated concerning the new paradigm of the research of cultural history.
