Abstract
In opto electric imaging systems, aliasing will occur when a scene is under sampled Exploiting 4 f systems to prefilter frequencies beyond Nyquist bandwidth, can effectively restrain aliasing, and improve the imaging quality obtained by ordinary prefiltering methods The prefilters are designed respectively under the illumination of monochromatic light and white light Images with reduction of aliasing have been obtained by 4 f prefiltering in several orientations
