Revision of PhoPhiKat Questionnaire

Abstract

Objective: To revise the PhoPhiKat questionnaire and examine its reliability and validity. Methods: 747 college students were assessed with PhoPhiKat questionnaire. Results: 31 items were retained after item analysis and exploring factor analysis. The revised questionnaire had three components and the structure had consistency between the original questionnaire and revised questionnaire. The results of Confirmatory Factor Analysis showed that the revised PhoPhiKat questionnaire had good construct validities. The coefficient of internal consistency and test-retest reliability were acceptable. By means of society anxiety and shyness as criteria, the results suggested the questionnaire’s criteria incidental validity were sound. Conclusion: The revised PhoPhiKat questionnaire has good reliability and validity.
