Abstract
Organic acids in loquat samples were adequately determined by ion-exchange chromatography. The performing gradient elution with EG40 eluent generator was used to obtain a flat baseline and better reproducibility. Results showed that the malic acid was the top organic acid in fruit; the seconds were quinic acid and tartartic acid. The others as citric, oxalic, cis-aconitic acid were little in fruit. In leaves, the main organic acid was quinic acid, while citric, malic and oxalic acid were little.
