Abstract
Aiming at externalization of waterfront landscape in urban regional natural environmental characteristics,the riverside area concept was discussed,and the important position of riverside public space in riverside area exploitation was illustrated.With Banqiao river in Hefei as example,the problems existed in riverside space were reviewed and proper planning design thought was proposed.
