Abstract
According to surveys and statistics, there are 161 species and 7 varieties of 72 genera of 38 families fern in Songyang, of which there are 103 ornamental species. According to the ecological type, the fern can be divided into five types: terrestrial fern, lithophytic fern, epiphytic fern, aquatic fern and vine fern. In addition, various kinds of use of ornamental fern in landscape was already probed into.
