Abstract

Mao Zedong maintained that the Democratic Revolution made necessary preparations for the Socialist Revolution, and that the Socialist Revolution was the inevitable trend of the Democratic Revolution. On the one hand, the Democratic Revolution cleared the way for capitalism; on the other hand, it created the first conditions for socialism. In the Democratic Revolution getting united with the Capitalist Class was a bridge leading to the Socialist Revolution. During the Democratic Revolution, the development of capitalism was not only beneficial to the Proletariat but also conducive to the development of socialism. It helped socialism take shape by laying the material foundation for socialism.
