Abstract
【Objective】 To evaluate the efficacy and safety of treating the proximal ureteral calculi with percutaneous nephrolithotomy in situ.【Methods】 The clinical data of 86 cases underwent percutaneous nephrolithotomy in situ for proximal ureteral calculi were analysed retrospectively.【Results】 The procedures were successfully performed in 81 cases and 5 cases encountered conversion.The average operation time was 70 minutes,the estimated blood loss volume 45 mL,the mean hospitalization 8 days.No major complications were noted.【Conclusions】 Percutaneous nephrolithotomy in situ is effective and safe in treating proximal ureteral calculi with fewer complications,minimal invasion and short convalescence.
