Abstract

This paper briefly outlines current status of distributed power generation applications, as well as its impact on the electric power grid.It focuses on the characteristics of a variety of distributed generation resources and the applications of the key technologies.Then the impacts of the distributed power and the research on corresponding electricity grid connection technology are introduced.At last, the future direction of the development for distributed power is discussed, which could be a reference for its application on power systems.
