Abstract
At present,in the urban design field,it is essential to express the character of the city and the cultural regeneration has become one of the most appropriate technologies tools for urban development.This paper looks at the specific cultural area in the development of urban centers,the research focus on urban design theory and cultural regeneration.The experiences of the cultural regeneration of cities were discussed.
