On Zamyatin and His Novels

Zamyatin is the outstanding representative of new realism novelists in the Russian Silver Age. His life and literary creative road were very complicated and full of dispute. His novels are famous for satire and strangeness, which were influenced by modernist writers. We can also see the marks of the critical Modernist literature in the 19th century.
