The Application of Orthodontic Traction in Anterior Impacted Teeth

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the effect of orthodontic traction for the recovery of inversely impacted teeth.Method: Orthodontic traction was applied in 9 cases of inversely impacted teeth for the exposure of anterior teeth, and then observed gingival characteristics and stability of tooth root before and after traction and fixed for 6 — 10 months later.Result: Orthodontic traction is excellent in the exposure of inversely impacted teeth.No recurrence was found after fixed for 6 — 12 months.Conclusion: Orthodontic traction is effective for exposing of inversely impacted teeth and aligning of the teeth.
