Abstract
Objective To study the influence of punctuality rate in first clinical operation to the hospital and patients. Methods The process management and controlling was used in the study, and time was noted in the different departments. The assessment was conducted after the management. Results After the study,it was found that the time of punctuality rate in first clinical operation(t = 4.15,P 0.05),the waiting time of the patients(t = 18.66,P 0.05),the satisfaction of the doctors(χ2=35.02,P 0.05) and the satisfaction of the patients(χ2=10.42,P 0.05) were increased significantly. The punctuality rate in first clinical operation was significantly correlated with the time of operation(r = 0.72,P 0.05),the time for patients waiting(r =-0.75,P 0.05),the satisfaction of the patients(r =0.86,P 0.05) and the satisfaction of the doctors(r = 0.82,P 0.05).Conclusion The punctuality rate in first clinical operation is important to improve the hospital medical efficiency, enhance coordination ability and increase the patients satisfactions.
