Abstract

Objective:To evaluate clinical value of dual-source CT(DSCT) coronary artery imaging and coronary angiography(CAG) in diagnosis of coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods:A total of 38 patients suspected of CHD with 169 coronary arteries underwent DSCT coronary artery imaging and CAG examination.Indexes of DSCT coronary artery imaging diagnosing CHD were analyzed with CAG as standard. Results:Sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of DSCT coronary artery imaging judging medium and severe coronary artery stenosis(stenosis≥50%) were 93.75%(45/48),99.17%(120/121),97.63%(165/169),97.83%(45/46),97.56%(120/123) respectively. There was good consistency between DSCT coronary artery imaging and CAG in display of stenotic degree of coronary arteries(Kappa=0.921,P0.001).There was no significant difference discovering coronary artery diseases between these two methods(P0.05).Conclusion:Dual-source CT coronary artery imaging possesses high sensitivity and specificity displaying coronary artery diseases and it has become a reliable,non-invasive and effective method in diagnosis of coronary heart disease.
