Research on the relationship between carotid artery atherosclerosis and coronary artery atherosclerosis for patients with coronary heart disease

Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship between carotid artery atherosclerosis and coronary artery atherosclerosis for patients with coronary heart disease.Methods A retrospective analysis of the results of coronary angiographyIn of 200 cases in our hospital,100 cases in non coronary heart disease group,100 cases in CAD group,32 cases in single vessel disease group,33 cases in two-vessel group,35 cases in three-vessel group,compared the IMT、Plaque score and Gensini coronary artery score of CAD group(different coronary artery lesion counts three groups)and non coronary heart disease group.Results The IMT、Plaque score and Gensini coronary artery score of CAD group were all higher than that in non coronary heart disease group(P 0.05),the IMT、Plaque score and Gensini coronary artery score of two-vessel group and three-vessel group was higher than single vessel disease group(P 0.05),There was a positive correlation between the number of diseased coronary arteries and IMT、Plaque score(P 0.05);There was a positive correlation between Gensini coronary artery score and IMT、Plaque score(P 0.05).Conclusion There is a positive correlation between carotid artery atherosclerosis and coronary artery atherosclerosis for patients with coronary heart disease,the degree of coronary atherosclerosis in patients with carotid atherosclerosis and increased with increased degree.
