Abstract

Rock burst is one of mine dynamic phenomena and is also one of disasters impairing the mine production safety.Rock burst means that since coal rock system reaches the ultimate strength,deformation energy releases suddenly and violently so that it causes that support collapses,roof and sidewalls fall,even huge blast throws coal rock to driving faces and hurts personnel.The paper analyzes the formation of rock burst of thick compound hard main roof in several aspects.
