Abstract
Objective To observe the relationship between the serum cTnI content and the prognosis in patients with unstable angina pectoris(UAP).Methods Serum cTnI and CK-MB level of 33 UAP patients were determined and the clinical features analysed. Results In the 33 UAP patients,16 patients had an elevated serum cTnI level, which was significantly higher in the UAP group than in the control group(P0.01),The CK-MB was not different from that in the control group(P0.05),cTnI level was an independent risk factor to cardiac event. Conclusion Serum cTnI level is an important biochemical indicator of the risk grading and prognosis of UAP patients.
