Abstract

The 20th Century was a modernization age for China. The victory of the 1911 revolution,the establishment of Republic China marked the innitiation of China's modernization. The economic,ideological and political achivements reached before and after the Fourth May Movement (the growth of national capitals,New Culture Movement,the rise of Chinese proletariat,the establishment of CPC and the cooperation of the Communist Party and the Nationalist Party,etc, )marked the phase of complete modernization. The triumph of New Democratic Revolution,the establishment of the People's Republic of China openned a wide way to China's modernization. Reform and openness to the world push China on the way to Socialist modernization and China's modernization has been growing rapidly. In the new 21th century,Chiness nation will be stronger than ever among nations of the world.
