Analysis of the Academic Quality of University Periodicals

Abstract
The paper has made a statistic analysis of the main evaluation indexes of the Journal of Beijing Jiaotong University(Science) in recent 5 years,including impact factor,total citation frequency,ratio of the fund papers,preponderant discipline and subject classification.According to the statistic analysis,we can know the development of each discipline and consolidation of academic level.The statistics show that: the academy quality evaluation indexes have been gradually improved in recent 5 years,the journal also published many papers that reflect the preponderant discipline.The scientific research strength of our school has improved in recent years;and the characteristics and impact of the journal is now expanding.The statistic analysis can provide reference for future journal-running.
