Abstract

Recently, Government of China has been paying attention to the challenges of the rural health sector unprecedented. “Decision on Further Strengthening Rural Health Work, the October 2002 document of the Central Committee and the State Council, provides the foundation for the Government's efforts to strengthen rural health services. This and other GOC documents set out a number of well-documented challenges that need to be addressed if Government's objectives to improve quality and increase access to health services for the rural population are to be achieved.To discuss about the legislations and policies of rural health care since 1979, analyze the problem of primary health care system in rural area, China. We have come to the policy suggestion, based on our investigation.
