Abstract

The development of theory and practice of microtremor method and its application in site dynamic tests are reviewed,and the problems involved in Nakamura method(i.e.by using spectrum ratio of horizontal to vertical microtremors or H/V for transfer function of site) are analyzed.Some thoughts about the theoretical foundation and applicable conditions of the methods are described.At the end of paper,the application prospect of microtremor method is discussed simply.
