Abstract
The media industry in China is facing the serious challenge from the global financial storm.Yet the fundamental economic elements in China are still in fairly good condition even though the economic environment is worsening. The direct impact from the global economic crisis to the stability and health of China's economy is rather limited, while the media industry,as a strategic industry strongly supported by the government, still has great possibility of its growth, and the unprecedented opportunity of its development as well even under the background of the economic crisis. The key point is facing the problem with composure, grasping the opportunity, solve the crisis, and thus achieve the benign development of the industry.
