Abstract
PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) is widely used in centralized control system of coal preparation plants in recent years.The paper introduces the DCS(Distributed Control System).After the performance and feasibility comparison of DCS and PLC,the author suggests that DCS should be promoted in the coal preparation plants.
