Abstract
The beginning of the Yi nationality sports culture, standing on the perspective of culture ecolo-gy coupling relationship are examined Yi sports cultural and ecological environment. This relationship in eco-logical environment determines the content and form of Yi sports cultural events. On the other hand, Yi sportscultural adapts to the natural environment, social environment and cultural environment has the subjective ini-tiative. Research by interpreting the relationship between Yi sports cultural and ecological environment in or-der to better protect and inherit the Yi nationality sports culture resources, so as to promote the sustainable de-velopment of the sports culture of Yi people.
