The implementation of serial communication between PC and testing instruments

The serial communication methods and techniques between PC and testing instruments programmed by Visual Basic 6.0 are analysed broadly in this paper.The hardware connection of RS485 serial communication between PC and testing instruments is introduced,and the use of Mscomm control files is discussed also.The serial communication is implanted by the only- event Oncomm of Mscomm by inquiring model.The successful running of the program indicates that it is both rationality and veracity,which get solved the difficulty in enterprise information management system.
