Abstract
Thin film solar cells(TFSC)are a promising approach for terrestrial photovoltaics and offer a wide variety of choices in terms of the device design and fabrication. The authors analyse the current status of TFSC and their future developments.Research and production progress of silicon based thin film solar cells,CdTe and Cu(In,Ga)Se2 solar cells, and dye-sensitized solar cells in China are introduced.
