Bibliometric Analysis of Papers and Authors in the Jiangsu Journal of Agricultural Sciences during the Period from 2005 to 2007

Abstract

Bibliometrics was applied to analyze the subject distribution of papers,the information quantity and density,publishing frequency,percentage of funded articles,labeling of corresponding authors of Jiangsu Journal of Agricultural Sciences,and educational background,region and organization distributions of its authors as well.Thereby,the advantages and features of the journal were concluded,and the disadvantages and downsides were pointed out.Suggestions to improve were also put forward.
