Introduces the current situation of pollution and restoration of urban river in Fuzhou city, and discusses the ecological destruction made by the irrational restoration. It points out that the restoration of the urban river can be conducted in the aspect of water environment research, ecological measurement, city's water space construction, biological diversity restoration and urban river travel to keep sustainable development of urban ecological system.
