Abstract
Through cointegration analysis and Granger causality tests we found that during the year 1998 to 2003 a steady and positive relationship existing between FDI and China's economic growth, and that the growth of FDI was the causation of economic growth. But a extrusion effect caused by the irrational FDI structure and the inefficient use of domestic capital weakened the positive effect. And from this view of point give the proposal of FDI utilization in China.
