Abstract

This paper makes comparative analysis on the various attack technique indexes of Chinese team in the 15th and 16th World Men's Basketball Championship with the methods of literature review, video observation, mathematical statistics and comparative studies. The result shows that the Chinese team doesn't show remarkable difference in points, shooting percentage, offensive rebound and assists in the two World Men's Basketball Championship. However, the capacity of steals have been apparently enhanced and the gap is further narrowed between the Chinese team and the world strong teams in the overall ability. There is an obvious improvement of self-confidence.The Chinese guards' ability of critical ball handling still falls behind the world strong teams,so the Chinese team should focus on strengthening the guard talent training and team's echelon building. The author recommends to take effective measures to improve our players' ability in high-intensive and fierce-body-competition condition.
