Abstract

Since the end of the nineties of the 20th century,China's Household Consumption Rate underwent a declining process.At pesent,comparing with the other countries of the world,China's Household Consumption Rate is seriously low.The decline of China's Household Consumption Rate is caused by many factors,including both economic and non-economic factors.This state of the low household consumption rate has put a stranglehold on economic and social development of China.Therefore,it is necessary for the government to carry out some effective policies to inspire consumption demand and raise the household consumption rate gradually,so that the national economy can develop steadily and continuously.
