Zhu Xi in Song Dynasty transfixed Li concept from humanity to nature,took ethics seriously,and also not ignored natural science to create most extensive and most profound theory system.He has many inventions of new ideas in natural science,especially in astronomy.He took the theory of combination of GaiTian and HunTian theory,described the universe as a dynamical structure,insisted on the theory of left lateral of sun,moon,and five stars on Zhang Zai's theory.And put forward the generated mode of Li-Qi-All things.He discussed carefully the lighting theory and relation of movement of sun,moon,and earth,explained innovatively solar eclipse,lunar eclipse,moon shadows,and precession,put forward the concept of ecliptic fraction,and broke the old ideas of using astronomical phenomenon to analogy catastrophes.These scientific ideas are innovations to absorb the scientific knowledge and achievements of predecessors,and reflected the higher value of times.
