Extentialist Illumination on Guo Xiang's Unified Interpretation of Confucianism and Taoism

The main topic of metaphysics of the Northern and Southern Dynasties is the unified interpretation of Confucianism and Taoism.Wang Bi's theory of dichotomy,setting no as foundation means the incompleteness of the mystery.Guo Xiang interpreted Chuang-tzu's theory and advocated that we should try to enter the realm of freedom,considered that Confucianism and Taoism in essence will lead to the same goal.The important aspect of Guo's theory is that men's real life is the final destination of both Confucianism and Taoism and nature and men are essentially unified,making the two theories totally different and the connection is essentialism.
