THE ANALYSIS OF EPIDEMIC FEATURE OF TUBERCULOSIS IN HENAN PROVINCE,2009

[Objective]To know the epidemiological characteristics of Tuberculosis in Henan province in 2009.[Methods]The data of Tuberculosis were analyzed by'Disease Reported and Surveillance Information System'and Excel software.[Results]77 771 Tuberculosis cases were reported during 2009 in Henan Province,and the incidence rate was 82.48 per 100 000,which was declined by 11.16% than 2008.268 deaths were reported and the mortality was 0.28 per 100 000,which was increased by 67.27% than 2008.The incidence rate and the mortality of Tuberculosis ranked second among the 28 A and B infectious diseases.There were more Tuberculosis cases during the Winter-Spring than the Summer-Autumn.The incidence rate in southeast was higher than of the northwest.Regarding the age and gender distribution of diseases,the incidence rate of tuberculosis in young and middle aged adults was higher than of other age groups.The incidence rate of male was obviously higher than female.Occupational distributions of Tuberculosis incidence revealed high rates among farmers.[Conclusion]Tuberculosis has seriously endangered the health of the local residents,and has become one of the important public health problems.
