Developing tool rearch of object-orlented CAPP system

Abstract

Because of the dependence of computer-aided process planning (CAPP) on production environment and the complexity in itself, the conventonal designs of CAPP restrict further application. In thepaper we introduce an approach to analyze process decision-making and construct process planningmodel with object-oriented design method, then present the fundamentals of abstrtacton and redesign itsobjects. After that, the architecture and the implementation strategies of the developing method forobject-oriented CAPP system is represented that. Finally, the issue of integration of CAD/CAPP isdiscussed.
