Abstract
With the comparison of two PCI bus interface methods,the interface chip PCI9030 is used to design the interface circuit considering the example of switch module of PCI bus.Firstly,the main characters of PCI9030 are introduced.Afterward,a detailed description to the hardware design is given including PCI bus interface,local bus interface and serial E2PROM interface.The E2PROM is configured with the reference of PCI9030 datebook with PLXmon,and the WDM driver is programmed with DriverStudio.The results show that it can improve the developing efficiency,and has a good reliability that the PCI9030 is used to realize the design of PCI bus interface circuit,and it is well-grounded to develop the module instruments of PXI bus.
