Abstract

Population characteristics of Alternanthera philoxeroides during its invasion to Ophiopogon japonicus turf were studied.The result indicated that variations of coverage, number of branching, densities and dry weight of different parts/total biomass showed a certain pattern in different invading periods. All of these characteristics are related to its biological properties and human activities.
