Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of central corneal thickness(CCT),and axial length on noncontact tonometry in an retrospect study. Methods We examined 310 eyes of 155 patients scheduled for LASIK surgery. The IOP was measured with a Cannon noncontact tonometer.Pearson and Partial correlations were performed. Results The noncontact IOP readings was significantly dependent(r=0.405,=0.000) on CCT.The association between IOP and axial length was statistically significant(0.01).Conclusion Central corneal thickness significantly affects IOP readings obtained by Cannon noncontact tonometry. There is a significantly association between IOP and axial length.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
