Abstract
Chemical genetics is a useful method by which the authors can investigate the functions of proteins utilizing activated small molecules possessing penetrability as molecular probes. In this text, basic methods and strategies of chemical genetics are introduced and compared with traditional genetics. Then advantages of chemical genetics are emphasized and its applications are explained.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
