Implement of the ModBus Protocol in the Transformer Stations Configuration Software

Abstract

ModBus protocol is a common communication protocol in the field of industrial control system.It has been supported by many equipment manufactures and is becoming the industrial standard because of the character of simple and comman.It has been widely used in industrial control system applications.In the substation automation system,many intelligent instruments and equipments provided communications support for ModBus protocol.This paper based on OOP,introduced a specific method of implement for the ModBus protocol in the transformer stations configuration software,and provided a technical method for the data communications between the master PC and intelligent instruments which support the ModBus protocol.
