Abstract

Using ArcGIS spatial analysis tool and SPSS17.0 correlation analysis method, this paper takes 352 province-level characteristic villages and spots in Zhejiang province as research samples to study the spatial distribution and influence factors of agritainment tourism. The study indicates that the spatial distribution of the characteristic villages and spots belongs to agglomeration, and demonstrates quality of high concentration. However, characteristic villages and spots differ in the specific areas of high concentration:the characteristic spots tend to distribute near urban areas and traffic trunk lines while the characteristic villages distribute in relatively high altitude areas. The characteristic villages have no significant correlation with factors like local tourism, economic and social development and agricultural economy, but relate closely with road transportation. As for characteristic spots, the relationships with mentioned factors other than agricultural economy are obvious. The results show that the spatial distribution of characteristic villages is dominated by government while that of characteristic spots is affected by market.Developing agritainment is not conspicuously efficient in enhancing peasant income in the community.
