Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of silk protein wound dressing in the treatment of Ⅱ degree burn wound. Methods A total of 48 patients with Ⅱ degree burn wound was equally randomized into two groups of A(treated with silk protein wound dressing) and B(treated with vaseline gauze). The healing time of wound edge, inflammatory reaction of the marginal of wounds and the degree of pain were recorded. Results Compared to group B,the average healing time was shorter and the degree of pain was lighter in group A(P0.05).There was no obvious difference in inflammatory reaction of the marginal of wounds between two groups. Conclusion Silk protein wound dressing can promote the healing process of Ⅱ degree burn wound.
