Abstract
Compared with Amberlite XAD-4,new polymeric adsorbent modified with acetylaniline(ZH-05) was prepared and used for adsorbing 4-methylaniline in aqueous solution, including the static equilibrium adsorption and desorption characteristics at different temperature, and the adsorption mechanism was further investigated. The result shows that chemical interaction will be in existence in the adsorption process of 4-methylaniline in aqueous solutions with ZH-05 at the right temperature and the adsorption capacities of 4-methylaniline in aqueous solutions with ZH-05 is obvious much higher than that of Amberlite XAD-4.All the adsorption data at different temperature are fit for Freundlich equation perfectly.
