Abstract
PCs available on hand are used to construct parallel computers consisting of tens or even hundreds PCs, which are cheap, practical but with high performance. The experiment system is a cluster computing environment based on TRUBO-LINUX and MPI, which consistsof 40 PCs connected by an Ethernet LAN. In this environment, experimentsof parallelcomputing and performance testing were made. Experimental results indicatethat this kind of environments are suitable for coarse-grained and medium-grained parallel tasks, of which intercommunications among processes are infrequent or cost much lower compared to computations.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
