Abstract
How to look to the relationship between and is not only a hot issue, which was argued by Chinese ideologists in ancient time, but also an essence of ethics studying in the Song and Ming Dynasties. Starting with simple and dialectic materialism, Wang Fu-zhi gave an acutely criticism to the idea of Making the Course of Nature Existent and the Desire of Human Extinct. He expounded the idea that reason exists in the desire, reason compounding with desire and keeping balance between the development of reason and desire not only initiated the new category and compass of reason and desire theory, but also borne an practical and positive edification meaning for social ethics and moral construction in modern times.
