Abstract
The stability of rotor system is an important problem in mechanics, for example, bifurcation and chaos, which is directly related to safety and reliability of turbine sets. In this paper, based on the dynamic model of Muszynska s flexible rotor with oil film, using coupled vibration technique, the vibration of single disk is regarded as main vibration of the system. Dynamic behaviors of rotor - bearing system with oil film and stability of nonlinear vibration are investigated. Hopf bifurcation and amplitude of vibration vs. frequency are presented graphically.
