Abstract
The intellectual stratum became self-conscious of the higher layer of nation when the members of nation began to form the awareness of the national community during the Anti-Japanese War.They rationally explored nation's categories, the unification of nation's community and its foundation of identification and nation's structure through comprehension of the concept Chinese nation.Although the intellectual stratum argued that nation's construction was one or more, these arguments and exploration enriched the connotation of the concept Chinese nation, proved the individual quality of nation's construction and advanced the development of nation's consciousness.
