Effect of Niobium in Cast Iron and Niobium-Containing Cast Iron

Abstract
The effect of niobium on cast iron and microstructure and properties of niobium－ containing cast iron was described including the morphology of niobium existing in cast iron,influence of niobium on structure and properties of gray iron,supercooled gray iron and chilled cast iron.In addition,the influences of niobium,nickel and molybdenum on the high－ temperature properties of chilled cast iron were compared.
