Abstract
China's electrified railway development, electric power supply and the impact on the power system is reviewed.Electrified railway with advantages such as larger volume, higher speed, cheaper shipping, lower energy consumption, less affected by natural factors has significant economic and social benefits. It is currently the main direction of the railway development. Also electrified railway traction load is a high-power single-phase rectifier load.It has great mobility and volatility, resulting negative sequence and harmonic, which would produce adverse impact on power quality at network access point. The paper analyzes the impact of electrified railway on Liaoning power system, summing up the current control measures, and making recommendations.
